| Members of Beecher Memorial Congregational UCC Sunday School gather next to the church for a photo; probably 1930's. This church was destroyed in 1965 by Hurricane Betsy. It was re-built and suffered extensive damage in the levee failures of 2005. Volunteers from the UCC have come from across the country to help in the rebuilding of members' homes. |
