The Past Whispers - Home

Warren Easton, the state's oldest public high school, opened its doors in 1913 as a boys' school and became co-ed in 1952.  It became a magnet school in 1977.  At her honorary induction into Easton's Hall of Fame in May, 2009, actress Sandra Bulloch that her contributions to help the school rebuild after the levee failures have been the best investment she'd ever made.  Since 2005, Ms. Bulloch has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to finance college scholarships, purchase new band uniforms, video equipment and toward the renovation of the school's auditorium.
