I thought this was such a striking photograph that when I came across it recently, I decided to
share it with you.  It was taken September 4, 2005, after the levee failures flooded New
Orleans.  I found it in the FEMA photo archives.  It's a cemetery in New Orleans, with tombs
surrounded by flood waters.  It reminded me of a story I heard about a hand-scribbled note
found taped to the gate of St. Roch Cemetery just after the flood waters had receded.  It read:
"The dead slumber peacefully.  They fear not.  Neither do they cry."
"Neither Do They Cry"
