USS New Orleans passes the city of New Orleans, 2008
The USS New Orleans, an amphibious transport dock, commissioned in 2007,
is stationed in San Diego, CA, part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.  The ship is the
4th commissioned U.S. Navy vessel to be named for the city of New Orleans.
