| A friend of the LeBlanc family shared this photo, taken in 1959. Clyde and Joanne LeBlanc, Sr. had 14 children (the 3 youngest hadn't arrived in 1959) and every Mardi Gras dressed them in the clown costumes Mrs. LeBlanc had made. Each year, she'd add a new one for the oldest and the rest were passed down to the younger ones. All 14 children eventually appeared in the clown costumes on Mardi Gras Day. |
