The interior is no more, but the facade of this building in the 300 block of
Magazine Street still stands, as it has since it was constructed in 1854.  If
everything goes as planned, the old building's exterior will be saved and a new
interior will be added.  There are plans to build a 4-story office building, with a
12-story tower of high end apartments behind it.  Whether this plan will go
forward depends on whether the owners can obtain a height variance from the
city, since the site's current zoning wouldn't allow a building that tall.  I hope,
if the apartment tower doesn't come about, they will still fill in the empty space
with a 4-story office building.  I'd love to see the old facade saved.
